Prunet Digital Agency Accelerates Africa’s Business Growth — One Brand and One Creative at a Time
Fast-growing Lagos-based creative powerhouse, Prunet Digital Agency, is scaling business growth across Africa by transforming how brands show up online — while simultaneously bridging the continent’s talent gap through its new training arm, Prunet Academy, officially launching this September.
Founded in 2022 by Creative Director Promise Ekewuba, Prunet Digital started as a small three-person team determined to help African businesses grow with strategic branding, content, and digital marketing services. Today, it has grown into a 23-person hybrid team that has worked with over 70 businesses across fashion, fintech, education, beauty, health, and even government sectors — providing services ranging from brand design and content creation to email marketing, SEO, social media strategy, and paid advertising.
"As we built our agency, we quickly realized that the demand for digital marketing services in Africa was skyrocketing — but the supply of skilled professionals just wasn’t keeping up," said Promise Ekewuba, Founder and Creative Director of Prunet Digital.
“Rather than wait to find the right talent, we decided to train them ourselves. That’s how Prunet Academy was born — a platform where we teach young Africans the skills businesses actually need, then hire them to deliver real client work.”
Prunet Academy is set to officially launch in September, offering training in high-demand digital skills such as digital marketing strategy, content creation, social media management, paid media buying, SEO, email marketing, and WordPress development. The Academy has already trained 65 creatives during its pilot phase — many of whom are now part of Prunet’s internal team or working independently across the continent.
What makes Prunet unique is its agency-academy integration model. The agency doesn’t just create content — it creates opportunities. Through Prunet Academy, learners are given practical, hands-on experience and a chance to work on real projects. The best-performing graduates are hired directly into the agency or placed with partner organizations.
This powerful combination has helped Prunet Digital build a reputation for high-quality, data-driven, and culturally relevant campaigns — making it one of the fastest-growing digital marketing agencies in Lagos today.
With a vision to train over 500 creatives by 2028 and impact 500 businesses by 2030, Prunet Digital is not just building brands — it's building the future of Africa’s digital economy.
